Product Description

Graphite heating elements are suitable for high temperature applications in a vacuum atmosphere. Due to its physical, chemical and thermal stability, graphite has good electrical conductivity, high current capacity, corrosion resistance and strong oxidation resistance.

Graphite has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, low thermal expansion, and strong thermal shock resistance. At room temperature, the strength of graphite is worse than that of metals, but its mechanical strength increases below 2500 ° C with temperature, and it exceeds all oxides and metals at 1700-1800 ° C.

Graphite material has high melting point and low vapor pressure. The atmosphere in the vacuum furnace contains low concentration of carbon, which will react with the O2 and H2O vapor molecules in the residual gas, resulting in a purification effect. Even at low vacuum temperature, the workpiece can be bright. The surface state greatly simplifies the vacuum system and reduces the cost, which is unmatched by any metal electric heating body.

Because graphite has a series of excellent characteristics, it has become a heating element of vacuum resistance furnace, which is more and more welcomed by the heat treatment industry, and it is increasingly widely used in high temperature resistance furnace.
